    Primal BBQ Sauce???

    Primal Fuel
I have a beautiful pasture raised hunk of pork in the slow cooker and am dreaming of dunking chunks of it into some BBQ sauce but all the yummy sounding recipes seem to call for brown sugar. Is it that big a deal to use 1/4 cup of sugar? Is there a viable alternative?

I saved this link when I first when primal because I used to be a BBQ sauce addict but I haven't used it:

I made this recipe last weekend. It was pretty good on some slow roasted garlic pork shoulder. The key to this recipe is caramelizing the onions to make it taste sweeter.
