yeah you are

I mean there's so many ants in my eyes! And there are so many TVs, microwaves, radios... I think, I can't, I'm not 100% sure what we have here in stock.. I don't know because I can't see anything! Our prices, I hope, aren't too low!

And that's why I'm here eating HFLC Primal/Paleo.

I wish you hadn't now. In an effort to be a smart arse and dig up some silly kungfu clips I ended up in that dodgy part of YouTube watching what started out as a slightly odd vid, but ended up as a savage beating of some poor guy. Pretty disturbed by the end of it.

If that is you in the vid, your form needs some work. You're rounding your back as you come out of the hole. keep your head up more and arch your back a bit more. You may need to do some lower back accessory work (good mornings are my favorites) but you shouldn't be moving your back the way you are.

I think most men who are overweight have this effed up idea that they will lose all the fat first, THEN they'll start the weights.

They think they do this by doing amazing amounts of cardio to get skinny, then they'll start putting on muscle. At least, I've heard that many times.

Lent my brown body paint to Derp and my thong to Geeknik's hubby.

My lower back isn't rounding at all. My upper back is always a little bit round due to some thoracic kyphosis, but it still maintains extension throughout these reps. Not saying these are perfect (hips rise faster than the shoulders on a few reps), but they're close enough to a 5RM that perfection is an unrealistic standard. So, in short, thanks for the unsolicited and incorrect advice.

Pretty good lifts for a Mennonite.

I freaking love how off-rails this thread went.

Ha ha. Do Mennonites wear tube socks when they lift too? Here's the aesthetic I was going for (Just gotta pack on another 120 lbs of solid muscle and grow several inches taller): Doug Young | 70's Big

I could have predicted this thread derailment. Leida wanted to know why her husband won't lift and get muscles, which made the girls want to see some muscles. Wish I had more to oblige/dazzle them with, but at least I proved conclusively that I'm no bodybuilder.
