    Ruby Tuesday

Any primal's been to Ruby Tuesday with luck. I am headed there Wednesday...checked out the menu online and was thinking of the plain grilled salmon with a lobster tail and steamed broccolli(and ask for a pack of REAL butter if they offer it)

sound good? anyone else eatten there?? not much interested in their steaks simply b/c its a huge chain restaurant and not a steakhouse

I have heard, but don't quote me on this, that they serve grass fed buffalo - either steaks or burgers, not sure which. You could call them up and ask.

I would order what you are thinking. The salmon is good, although I have not had their lobster tail.

These are other items I have had that are delicious...and primal...

    Memphis Dry Rub Half Rack

Notice the below burgers are the "Prime" burgers and not the choice...there is a difference in taste. They are very good as well. Just make sure to ask for the veggies with lots of butter and/or the mashed cauliflower.

Triple Prime Bacon Cheddar Burger* With aged New York cheddar and applewood smoked bacon.

Triple Prime Burger* It’s been called the world’s best burger.

Triple Prime Cheddar Burger* The world’s best burger plus aged New York cheddar.

Triple Prime Havarti Burger* With creamy Havarti cheese.

It should go without saying, but don't eat the bun!

I've been browsing the menus of the restaurants in my area and I think I figured that the only place I couldn't eat primally was Pizza Hut.

I'm in MD, but I only eat in restaurants once or twice a week. Hamburger Hamlet does a bunless burger for low-carbers. If you can find a MOMs Organic Market, they sell grass-fed beef. Trader Joe's has cans of salt-free wild Alaskan salmon for $2/can. I picked up a few of those to take to a conference with me next week.

I agree, it is not optimally primal, but at 6g of carbs for the half rack and 12g for the full rack...it doesn't have the sugar content of the other ribs...which are 25g plus.

The salmon, veg and lobster is a good plan. Not sure about the real butter. Just be careful of their oil as it is soybean oil.

I usually order the Triple Prime Burger with a side salad with oil and vinegar dressing. Its not my first choice for lunch on the go when traveling but does fine in a pinch.

I have been there and it was relatively easy- it was quite awhile ago! I think I did need to ask for real butter, and they had the little foil-wrapped pats that they dug up for me. They also have a decent salad bar.

Yeah, they have pulled that butter thing on me as well!

Forgot to mention that my burger is ordered sans the bun, ketchup, any any other crap of course, which always causes a confused look on the wait staffs face........

I went there a little over a week ago. I got the Memphis Dry-Rub ribs (OMG, they're wonderful) with two sides of veggies and the salad bar. There are some decent options on the salad bar, but no great dressings. I did get cheesecake, which was yummy, and had sparkling water. I'm becoming a fan of that.
