the author says SFAs can be problematic if one has chronic inflammation. I'm confused. I thought SFAs, albeit fattening, in conjunction w/ a high carb diet, had beneficial properties? So is recommending a high-intake of SFA for a person on a carb-rich diet, adding fuel to the fire?
I would say SFAs + carbs is going to be better for you than vegetable oil + carbs. Ultimately, there's not much to say to a completely unreferenced blog post where the thing under discussion merited just a single sentence.
