It sounds like you really just want to know the minimum you should be doing so I'd recommend Body by Science as it only has you doing weights once a week or so with the aim of getting the most "bang for your buck" so to speak. There's no point doing extra unless you really want to!
Oh I agree. Wasn't reopening that discussion. I read OP as basically saying "I hate lifting weights....do I gotta?". To which I was sayin ....well rock climbing and such might be enough for you then.
