If you assert something it becomes true. X2 if it's on the internet. X10 if it's on television.
Friday is my lazy ass day... I lay about all day ... play with myself... watch television... xbox, wii, ds...
ANYWHO!
I've seen a ton of commercials today for cereals that have been labeled as HEALTHY! We're talking... Fruit Loops, Golden Grahams, Chocolate Cheerios, Coco Pebbles, Lucky Charms...
When did this become healthy and does anyone anywhere actually eat this shit thinking it's healthy?

This stuff actually became "healthy" back in the 1980s. Anyone else remember Snackwells??
But just to be clear, playing with yourself is healthy.
Ooh it's Friday. I've got a date with me tonight.
Oh...are you only supposed to do that on Friday...
Well of course! Why would you want to eat real food when you can eat manufactured corn by-product food! Besides, it says it lowers cholesterol and is made with whole grains...what else could you possibly want or need.

I have seen these ads the other day too, and I felt a chill going down my spine (similar to the feeling I had watching the entire Food inc documentary).
Given that these commercials corroborate current American common wisdom pertaining to diet, they are an easy sell. We have been, for years, taught that grains are good for us, and that we absolutely require these grains to grow up strong and healthy. It also doesn't help that some of the biggest and most powerful companies in the world have large stakes in these 'foodstuff' products as well.
Sure they can pack some artificial vitamins in there through the enriching process, but even that is not the same as eating something natural as some berries or veggies. And no, these ads will not mention the insulin spike that will occur post consumption of this cereal alongside the processed hormone-laden milk that is sold in the supermarket.
On a similar note, has anyone viewed the pop tarts ads? I'll take mine as an ice cream sandwich; yum diabetes!
Sadly, conventional wisdom will not depart from us anytime soon. There is too much money at stake to abscond from our subsidized corn and soy farms, and to invest in natural grass fed meat and veggies.
We spend so much money on care for the sick. Funny how preventative means are so much easier and cheaper.
