Oh and why is fish bad? The PUFA's are omega 3's that are good right? Or am I getting something confused. I know some fish is bad, but not salmon, halibut, sardines, etc. right?

Well, I started it to see if anyone had read the book and what their thoughts were on it, but from 9 pages of posts, it doesn't look like anyones actually read it yet? I just started it and have read the intro so far. Hoping to get a few chapters in today

Except that's what you are advocating, eating lean protein, starches, and fruits, and avoiding all added fats. That qualifies as "very low fat".

And when I see people making fake pancakes and breads out of nut meals and nut butters, I sort of get a chill down my spine.
It's called fat phobia, the irrational fear that somewhere, someone is using fat to cook or flavor their food. That can be fixed.

No, he is afraid of cooking something with high PUFA content, heating up and oxidizing the PUFA. And nut flour for pancakes could fall into this category.

Thanks for backing me up, she does indeed look really haggard(gigantic bags under her eyes, and the easily visible wrinkles)
