When I'm sprinting I'll typically hit 1 max effort day and 1-2 tempo run days every 10 days. The tempo runs are typically the same distance with lower intensity.

I typically used to do sprints 2x/week (that was in 2008 ! )
So was disappointed when he said every 7-10 days; perhaps it's just for maintenance.
