I may be off-base here, but I feel that there are a lot of people on this board who might enjoy Brooks Kubik. He is a pretty oldschool lifter, who took a very minimalist approach to working out. He has fallen out of favor, probably do to his persona and the "glitz and glam" era of fitness. If you youtube him, you will find he uses a lot of everyday "items" to workout with. He is insanely strong, but moved more towards body weight work as he aged and was not so concerned with the amount of pounds he moved. I have noticed a lot of forum members do crossfit/home style lifting and I feel this is a great alternative or just something new to try(Brook's style can be considered very primal!!!). It is very user-friendly so it is still very easy to follow for anyone who feels they are a novice.
