This one for all you folks who has a liver problem to see if it works for your taste buds.

Turned out to be a great combination. Super-simple too. I did not use any spices, but I think that I will try tumeric and cinnamon next time.

Basically, I melted a bit of lard, and fried bite sized yam in it till it started to get soft, added bite-sized liver, turned a few times till liver browned on all sides, dumped a bit of boiling water in, covered and let it steam for a couple more minutes.
