... at least in the northern hemisphere.
And, obviously, they are back with the anti-tanning campaign:
Scary Secret Sun Damage
I'm looking forward for the articles to lose weight by eating fruits 9 times per day, avoid all fats except one teaspoon of oil of olive in your 6lb salad, and have skimmed milk and whole cereals in the morning
Yep, what we need is a goji berry, acai, african mango, raspberry ketones, lowfat yoghurt, wheatgrass, and kale smoothie to go with the dry rice cakes.
Use topical vitamin C, sunscreen and avoid PUFAs and grains.
There's no such thing as "superfoods".
Tanning is stupid, I don't know why people want to damage their skin.
Also, fuck summer. I'll be carrying an umbrella and slathering on zinc oxide in the rare times I'm unfortunate enough to be caught outside in the summer, and impatiently waiting for fall and winter(best times of the year)
I'm trying to figure out if there is something I need to figure out and then figure that out before it's too late and all hope is lost.
The tighter the grip gets, the more sand pours out between the fingers.
Even though I am ghostly pale white, I looooooove summer! It's so cheerful, why would you hate it?! Ohyaright, you live in California. You should go up north for summers, and then go to the south for the winter! Then it'll be perfect, always.
(For the record, I totally ate ricecakes, fruit, AND yogurt today. AAAAND a smoothie. it was awesome, and I enjoyed it. superfoods forever)
It was 93 here today. *pout* I probably get less sun in summer than I do any other time of the year.

My dad was outside at every possible opportunity, got a good tan and never had a problem.
My mom avoided the sun like a vampire, never built up a tan and just burned a little on the rare occasions when sunlight touched her skin. She's constantly getting patches removed for skin cancer.
