    Summer is coming...

... at least in the northern hemisphere.

And, obviously, they are back with the anti-tanning campaign:

    Scary Secret Sun Damage

I'm looking forward for the articles to lose weight by eating fruits 9 times per day, avoid all fats except one teaspoon of oil of olive in your 6lb salad, and have skimmed milk and whole cereals in the morning

And rice cakes. You can eat all you want because they taste like styrofoam. And yogurt. Even if most of the calories come from added sugar. Eat all you want of it.

Don't forget to eat your superfoods.

Yep, what we need is a goji berry, acai, african mango, raspberry ketones, lowfat yoghurt, wheatgrass, and kale smoothie to go with the dry rice cakes.

Use topical vitamin C, sunscreen and avoid PUFAs and grains.

There's no such thing as "superfoods".

Tanning is stupid, I don't know why people want to damage their skin.

Also, fuck summer. I'll be carrying an umbrella and slathering on zinc oxide in the rare times I'm unfortunate enough to be caught outside in the summer, and impatiently waiting for fall and winter(best times of the year)

It's not the heat, it's the stupidity.

It was 93 here today. *pout* I probably get less sun in summer than I do any other time of the year.

Who says back fat is a bad thing? Maybe on a hairy guy at the beach, but not on a crab.

I work outside all day, so a tan is actually protective for me.

My dad was outside at every possible opportunity, got a good tan and never had a problem.

My mom avoided the sun like a vampire, never built up a tan and just burned a little on the rare occasions when sunlight touched her skin. She's constantly getting patches removed for skin cancer.

I actually used to eat rice cakes, slathered with butter.

We just got snowed on yesterday and last night and it is snowing lightly right now. That set the all time record in anchorage for the longest period between first snowfall and last snowfall. Enough already. Bring on the sun.
