I have heard of people trying to get control over their gluten intolerance issues by eating nothing but white rice for weeks until things settle down and they can start to figure out the pieces. How about potatoes? Do they bother you as well?
Does anyone else have the problem that they can't seem to eat a single food without problems? I can't digest meat/eggs at all. I eliminated gluten, grains, and dairy. I am hypothyroid and hypoglycemic and elminated fruit. I have not found a single food that I can digest other then highly processed wheat products. I can eat white flour tortillas without stomach problems however it effects my blood sugar and I am always hungry and I retain at least five pounds of water eating only this. However, if I try any other foods I am in horrible stomach pain all day. I take digestive enzymes, probiotics, HCL, apple cider... nothing helps. I have thought of going on a diet of only baby rice cereal and vitamins. Does anyone else have this problem?

I'd recommend eating the most processed food you can find that's still relatively healthy until you can start eating fruit, vegetables, meat...
Irongirl, I did not have this problem, but I have read that the strict antinflamatory diet is rice protein and boiled white fish. Does boiled cod irritate your stomach? Can you tolerate pure fat of any kind, like ghee, or extra light olive oil? Protein with a little bit of fat and a bit of starch might help satiation.

When I let go of what I am, I become what I might be.
Could be low stomach acid (hypochlorydria). You might try a Betaine HCl/Pepsin protocol and see if you can restore your stomach's own acid production. Chris Kresser has a whole series about this on his website and I've had success improving my digestion of protein-heavy meals following it.
Of course nothing I say is to be construed as medical advice or any type of diagnosis. I'm simply suggesting you do your own research and come to your own conclusions.
First questions. What does your gastroenterologist say? What was the result of your endoscopy and colonoscopy? Any tests for diverticulitis or gall bladder issues? What about adhesions? Stool tests for SIBO or C-Diff?
Severe multiple food intolerances can turn out to be issues with mast cells, such as mastocytic enterocolitis. Do antihistamines make any difference?
A diagnosis of IBS simply means 'you have an ongoing digestive problem but we don't know what it is'. Colonoscopy with biopsy samples from multiple areas, particularly higher up, should be part of the work up.
Oh, and read the label on vitamins really carefully. Unless it says gluten, dairy, soy and corn free, you might as well assume it has those in it.
Seriously, you can't live the rest of your life without eating. It might not be a food sensitivity. Talk to your doctor. Tell us what he/she says.
I'd suggest you to go for a liquid diet for some time. Seasonal fruits never do harm and bananas are the best source of energy. If you can't digest them than make a shake out of them or squeeze juice of them. It will certainly help.
.
I'd make a trip to my MD really quickly. Maybe it's a simple medicine, procedure or fix that will let you eat....

Check out my blog. Hope to share lots of great recipes and ideas!
I'd go see a doctor.
I understand where you're coming from. Do you have any stomach testing planned? It's hard to know how to go about treating something that doesn't have a face. More data needed.
