    Bacon; it's delcious and nutritious.
Stumbled into Primal due to food allergies, and subsequent elimination of non-primal foods.

My grandmother lived to be 97 and every morning was bacon and fried eggs.
For some, unknown reason, she was always thin and fit.

Bacon has been outlawed by all major religions for thousands of years. Pork is an Atlantean hybrid; consume at your own risk.

Where I'm from, the 'major religion' prior to Christianity praised pork to the Heavens. They had this huge boar, Särimer, see? Every night, Särimer would be butchered for dinner, and every morning, he'd come to life again. I think the warriors of Asgard pretty much farted and breathed pork... it was praised as the finest meat there was.

Food for thought: Mention one major religion that bans pork that does not come from desert regions. The jews, the muslims... all that came from hot climates originally. You have any idea what hot climates will do to bacon?

These days pork in the desert works like this.

What you can't see from the photo is that it's roughly the size of my apartment.

The pork room is fun for two reasons - first you can get pretty much every bit of pig and every kind of pork product going, far more than in the supermarkets at home - if Dubai's going to do something they do it big afterall. Secondly you get to discover what has pork in it when you don't expect it. Porky poptarts.

Interesting that the sign right below "Pork Shop" says "For non-Muslims".

Reminds me of that Family Guy shirt:

    "Vote for Lois
    unless you're queer,
    No, wait,
    even if you're queer.
    No Jews, though.
    Okay, Jews."
