Am I the only one here that doesn't cook?

I'm new here and I get the impression that the general position of the members of this forum is that grok="must cook own food".

I'm not looking to start a long thread about how I should be cooking, I'm just curious if there is anyone on this forum that is brave enough to admit that they don't cook. Microwaving is OK.

So, is there anyone on this forum that does not cook?

Not always. Then I settle for a salad and premade hard boiled eggs from the store. I tend to use the microwave at work to reheat leftovers.

I heat stuff in the microwave and boil stuff mainly. When I do cook I find it kind of gross getting grease and oil over my plates and utensils.

Depends on what you mean by "cooking". Sometimes, I open my fridge and compose a plate of cold stuff:
    - olives
    - slices of gouda
    - pieces of smoked salmon or lamb
    - some left-over salad
    - a few pieces of tomatoes or cucumbers
    - add a bit of olive oil and balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper

I don't know, it does not feel like I am cooking when I do this. Preparing hard boiled eggs ... is that cooking ?

But microwave (MW) ? NEVER. What would I microwave ? left-overs that need heating ? Then a sauce-pan and slow heating would do, or in the oven maybe. Why MW really ?

Since going primal I don't cook half as often as I used to. I just buy bif lumps of cheap cuts of meat, slow cook them and eat them during the week. Or just do a batch of bolognese/chili for the week too, cook a kilo of chicken wings or a whole chicken...I used to be in the kitchen for 45 mins every night, now it's 20mins at most. On the weekend I'll put a bit more effort in. Sometimes.

If one lived in the United States and didn't cook, what would they eat?!?

What do you mean cook? Whipping together a complicated dish or just slicing and dicing vegetables and quickly steaming them with some seasoning? I don't do anything fancy...

Frying chicken drumsticks now - doing a few to last a few lunches/dinners. Cut up some veg for salad add good oil/vinegar and cooking is done ( not complicated).

Do often do you eat cooked food?
If rarely - doesn't it get boring?
If yes - who cooks it?
