    It has soy in it, right? And seed oils? Vegenaise just feels too processed to me. Whatcha got against mayonnaise? It's just eggs and oil and easy to make yourself.

    I tried it once--zero flavor whatsoever.

    My usual substitute is Fage yogurt (whole). I also make mayo with virgin avocado oil but only for special occasions since I don't use it fast enough.

    Mashed avocado with olive oil and lemon or lime juice is nice, if you don't want to make mayo, or you want a vegan version.

    making mayo is easy and I make it almost every day either from palm oil or from olive oil.

    Avoiding all seed oils is a very important part of good paleo eating. Vegetable oil is really bad for you as it is loaded with PUFAs. Better to have a good fat that you're putting into your body.

    I buy the mayonnaise with canola oil in it (regular mayo found at the grocery store uses soybean oil). I find canola oil less offensive because it's made of rapeseed and/or mustard seeds.

    Just eggs and oil, no need to substitute on Paleo me thinks.

    No reason not to just make your own with Olive Oil or EVOO if you like the taste.

    I don't know in what context you want to replace mayonaisse, but for most mixtures where you need it for like a "salad" (like tuna) I just use a mashed up avocado, and it's actually better. It has everything that mayo offers nut tastes better.

    I actually like and use soy-free Vegenaise. It's high in MUFAs, low in PUFAs, and the only questionable ingredient is the pea protein which I'm sure is a trivial amount per serving. It tastes pretty good for being egg-free. It's REALLY expensive, though. $7 for a small jar.
