Almost freezer burned roast makes the entire curry taste freezer burnt. Dammit. Cleaning my mouth out with berries and cinnamon whipped heaven. Also has another half round of decent naan and half a DP out of stress about the car and job and lack of sleep.

Sorry about freezer burnt stuff. Someone said if you put meat in plastic; then wrapped paper towels around that; and then more plastic, it would keep that from happening. Never tried it!

Did I miss the car stuff? Is it sick or banged or...?

You'll do great on the job interview. I know it's frustrating as hell, but I know you'll be on top of it.

I'll be thinking about you at 8:30 and sending good vibes!

Thank you for great advice re resetting. You are so right. Gonna' take it slow. Today was easy. I was so cranky about M, that I forgot to eat until about 4:00, at which point I made a chicken vegetable soup. Can't go wrong there. Dang! I was spring cleaning the basement today and "lost" my phone:-):-):-)

Fogging Molly had a slow leak (thankfully only a busted valve stem, free repair, but I though it could be as bad as a busted wheel) and needed 4 new tires, which wasn't cheap. Geek covered it, but I still feel bad about it.
The meat was just under a year old, so I'm surprised it was only a little freezer burnt and not a grey brick. Usually our method of saran wrap then foil works wonders.
Glad you "lost" your phone. That's honestly what y'all both need, but I wasn't going to be the one to say it.
I'm hoping so much for this job.

Sending all kinds of good thoughts your way. I am excited for you.

Sorry about your car, but, hey, you'll have a job and be able to help Geek out sometime:-)

    Fingers crossed as well!

I aced the second interview. Apparently, they'll be "check[ing] the rest of [my] references and will be in touch," which means that, so long as none of my references completely trash me, the job is mine if I want it.
I also have another possible bite from another firm I'd written off, we'll see how this e-mail chain goes.
Didn't sleep for shit last night (got all of 3 hours), so I took a 4.5 hr nap when I got home. I needed that and need more.
Geek's ren faire shirt will need some embroidery to cover the seam holes from the pockets, it looks like.

    Nicely done!
somehow I manage to leave my intelligence and decorum at the door wherever I go. I doubt your journal will be an exception to that - not on the rug
