I need to stretch my dollar, too. I only have $50.00 per week to do steak and eggs! How much was that beef? CAFO or GF?
Steak, eggs, potatoes - fruits, nuts, berries and forage. Coconut milk and potent herbs and spices. Tea instead of coffee now and teeny amounts of kelp daily. Let's see how this does! Not really had dairy much, and gut seems better for it.

I love steak and eggs! This sounds like a plan I should start. What kind of changes have you seen so far?

I've lost some weight and have had more progress on my bench than I anticipated. My belly is firmer and I've bought a smaller size jeans than I've worn in my life.

We're not talking a lot of weight difference, just that I was probably right on the cusp and it pushed me over.

Breakfast at 10:00 am. I was hungry this morning, so ate earlier but a little less than usual. 8oz of 85% hamburger, a 3 egg yolk omelet with hot sauce in the middle. Gunpowder green tea.

Love the food photos! I'm looking forward to the carb refeed. Do you have your Sunday menu planned yet? I'll be following your results, they should be amazing after another week or two.

Yes your photos, recipes and cooking are great. Thanks! Who could fail to love this "diet"?

But yes, I made Hollandaise sauce the other day to go on oven baked wild Alaskan salmon steaks and it was fun to make and not too difficult.

I'm thinking of fish and shellfish, starchy vegetables, and fruit.

I do like hollandaise. The issue is that at 1.5oz butter per egg yolk, I could really go overboard on fat and thus calories, given that I'm eating a lot of egg yolks and fatty meat.
