I have a question do any of you guys sit down and count how many grams of protein per body weight or whatever or do you guys just eat? I had been reading some post some of this things sound time consuming trying to figure out all this grams of this and grams of that... I just sit down and eat till I feel good, I eat 3 eggs 5 or 6 slices of bacon big glass of water and about 5 strawberries for breakfast who else does that?

It's hard to say, since it depends on your activity level etc. I'm 5'5, ~112 pounds, but I eat more than my mom, dad and 17-year-old brother combined.

I eat. It's boring to count. I know nutritional information for my food and will occasionally estimate grams of this and that, but I don't make it a habit. Counting too many macros detract from my enjoyment of eating.

I'm new to primal eating, but don't count anything except on my IF days I count calories. Otherwise I eat when hungry, stop when satisfied.

It's helpful to stay literate about the general composition and density of foods but I can think of no faster way to hate life than a daily tally. I also believe eating the same composition and quantity every day is not ideal.

    I do, kind of like keeping a tally. I average around 80-120. I'm female, 5'5", 115-120 lbs

I used to count when I was actively losing weight. Now that I'm in maintenance mode, I don't need to anymore.

Counting just to track where you stand for say a week can be very useful. It gets you some baseline data to see if anything needs adjustment.

I find it useful to count when trying something new or adding new foods, just so I can ballpark it later. But usually, no. I don't count. I DID when I first started PB.
