Anyone else always cook their bacon first then cook their scrambled eggs directly in the bacon grease?

Is there any other way? I've been cooking my eggs like that forever, even long before going primal/paleo. I also add basil to my eggs, and sometimes cheese (Kerrygold Dubliner)

O heck yes! Often I'll throw in some onions, pepper, zucchini, etc., let them sizzle in the bacon fat, then add the eggs, wither to scramble, or just to fry over/with the veggies.

Bacon grease AKA nectar of the Gods....

I cook everything in that stuff. Then I douse it with red hot.

Seriously, I have a griddle (most used item in my kitchen). I frequently cook all sorts of fatty meat on it. Then I leave the fat on it to cook whatever the side dish. Sure fire way to save big bucks on Kerrygold . Plus why would you waste all that yummy fat when you've paid premium dollars for the high quality stuff!

Can't eat eggs, but I cook my banana in it depends on the source though, if I have run out of the good bacon I buy at my specialty store then I don't.
Started Primal June 2012 at 148.5lbs, and 5' 1", reached goal weight in 5 months.
Lowest weight 93lbs - too thin. Now stable at around 100lbs much better weight for me at my age.
Primal, minus eggs, dairy and a myriad of other allergens.

    Oh. Damn. Trying this.

To OP - definitely, although I drain a lot of the excess first, into the handy jar of bacon fat I keep in the fridge for cooking all kinds of things...

    +1 This.

Who says back fat is a bad thing? Maybe on a hairy guy at the beach, but not on a crab.

Absolutely! Actually, I keep two jars in the fridge, one for extra bacon grease and the other for pepper bacon grease. Banana pancakes fried in pepper bacon grease are one of my favorite breakfasts.

This right here is my favorite, the flavors come together soo well, just a tad of salt in the drippings really makes those cakes "pop" on your tastebuds! Cant wait until Sunday to have a banana pancake party haha.

Every day. Although I drain off the excess first.
