Sharing my post on the MANY health benefits of pure chocolate.

    Primal Fuel
MDA has already provided various links on benefits of good quality chocolate, but I'd like to share a bit more info & that the benefits of chocolate depend on if the chocolate was a hybrid vs. heirloom bean. The processing is also taken into account. I provided links for my favorite chocolate brands on the market and some brands have herbs and algae infused with the chocolate and only sweetened with coconut sugar or honey.

    Hope you guys like it

Nice blog. Yum, I love me some chocolate. 85/15 is as about dark as I can go while still enjoying it.

I have a square (or two!) of 90% dark with my coffee.

    Shared it on facebook!

I eat a lot of chocolate. I buy the whole beans at my health store, and also bars of the darkest chocolate I can find. What do you think of Theo brand? It is one of the few common brands that does not contain soy. Green and Black's 85% is another favorite of mine. How does it hold up to scrutiny?

    Knifegill~ Thanks for sharing!
I have not tried the Theo bars but they are very dark chocolate. I may have to try one soon!
I personally prefer staying away from anything that has "sugar" in the ingredient list.

The same goes for me with green and blacks. I'll skip the fat-reduced cocoa powder and milk powder ingredient bars if there is something better near it.

But they definitely look like one of the few best chocolate brands on the market. I'm just a nitpicky freak ha.

Do you eat the whole cacao beans straight? how do you like them?

I love the whole beans. Fun to chew and pleasant bitter/astringent sort of flavor. Good with something to sip to wash it all down.
