Preparing to start 30 day primal challenge on May 1st. I have a couple of specific challenges: a lapband limits the amount and kind of food I can eat, plus it makes me feel "bad" if I overeat or eat the wrong food / artificial knees with some limited range of motion prevent kneeling and aerobic activities (anything that stresses the joint or involves twisting of the knee). Oh, and I am a TERRIBLE cook! I don't like it, avoid it, don't have many skills.

But I love lean protein, don't care about missing bread, and don't crave sugar. Well, partly true. I don't crave sweets. I do crave some carbs.

I am wanting to go strictly paleo for the month of May and see how I feel.

Today, I will clean out my pantry/frig and get the kitchen in order so food choices are easier. I will also look over my books and identify key chapters to read in preparation.
