This is gonna sound really mean but I find the nutrition/dietary profession so very bizarre. Their names are followed by a bunch of impressive acronyms and they're given extensive media space for their sermons, but it's the most glassy-eyed incurious recitation of the same text books I remember reading in middle school. When confronted with actual data they kind of cock their head to the side like a dog trying to understand English.
Lots of: urban hiking, cycling, sprinting
Lots of: fresh meat, seafood, eggs, organs, tubers, starch fruits, vegetables, meat fat, dairy fat, oil fruits
Some: cured meat, dairy protein, sweet fruits, rice, pulses, tree nuts, oil seeds
Minimal: soy, refined proteins, sugar, liquid carbohydrate, grains, refined oils, peanuts
