I sent you a PM about the glucose/ketone meter. Not sure if you got it but I figured it out. They didn't include ketone strips, so I have to wait until I have the money to buy them. I can't believe how expensive they are!!! Over 50.00 for a box of ten?!?! Crazy. Where did you buy yours? Trying to find them for cheaper, I looked on Amazon but the average price is about 50.00 on there too. Thanks in advance for your help!
Thanks. I'm didn't know and am not even sure how to check that I received a PM. Not really a forum person. i'm not even on facebook. Kinda refuse to be on it.

I bought my ketone strips from Universal drugstore from canada. They run $2 a strip and took about two weeks to receive. They are very expensive, which is the reason why I'm testing every other day at this point. I would order $100 worth to take advantage of the free shipping, otherwise shipping will cost you around $20. If you order the nova max, it comes with two ketone meters and it's free as well, but take 3-4 weeks to receive the meter.

In the meanwhile, you could check your glucose levels. Below 100 in a fasting state is a good sign.

    Again, so sorry.

Thanks. my weight might increase tomorrow. For my lean mass, I'm using calipers. The calipers came with some instructions on where to measure and how those relate to the % of fat mass. I use a conservative number, usually .5% above what the chart is stating so that I can give myself wiggle room. I know it's not accurate, but if areas I'm measuring are getting smaller then I look at it as a positive sign. I look at it as though I'm measuring my waste, as long as it's getting smaller, I'm moving in the right direction. I'll get a dexa scan at the end of my experiment.
