It rubs the kale on its skin, or else it gets the hose again! http://youtu.be/Jm86I_kezVY

I ordered something at a restaurant last month that was a game changer. It was warm kale salad with grilled chicken on top. Holeeee crap it is good. The next week they had it with salmon. I make it now twice a week and no matter how much I make, everyone devours it. It's just three things; shredded carrots, shredded kale (rib removed) and shredded red cabbage. You sautee it in CO and bone broth. Damn good.

I can see how that would work. I'm not a fan of cold/raw veggies hardly ever. However, when I sauté spinach and tomato with garlic in EVOO, I love it.

Kale, not so much. But, if a dish looked good all except for the kale, I'd most likely order it.

We had kale a few times when it was in season. At first everyone was like yuck kale , but the Indian spices and some coconut milk changed their minds quickly.
    Also lots of hearty meat.
What to do: Eat real food, enjoy your food, get out into the sun as often as possible, move around, sleep well and early (like before 11 p.m.), have health as your main goal.

You are probably going to fail if you: Restrict carbs or fat or calories, avoid fruit (because sugar derp), punish yourself with diet/exercise, have weight loss as your only goal,....

I just wiz frozen kale up with banana and berries in my nutribullet a couple times a week. Sometimes I alternate that with spinach. Not sure if I am really digesting it and getting the nutrients, though, heh. I have bought kale several times thinking I was really gonna get serious and eat it this time.....nope. I agree with others that say don't eat it if you don't like it. Life is full enough with having to do stuff we don't like.

Making this right now. OMG. It's the warm kale salad I mentioned. You just toss goodies in a wok and then go crazy eating it.

Don't worry about it. Looks like we're almost out of it.

If I did that I'd eat Big Macs and Donuts all day. I eat healthy because it makes me feel better and weigh better, not because I like it all that much.

Yeah but they don't sell that many in any grocery store. Where I live theres a few dozen maybe?

I sometimes put kale in my soup. Simmering for a long while helps soften it up and make it edible.
Finally started starting the diet - 5/8/12.
