Is there anything on the long term effects of eating primal / going low carb?

Eating primal does not mean going low carb...and I imagine eating non processed foods and exercising will mean a higher probability for a longer, healthier life compared to eating nothing but processed foods and sitting on your ass watching tv all day.

    Thanks.
True, but online I find the emphasis often is on going low carb and switching to fat burn mode or is that just me?

If you eliminate certain foods, and eat the rest in thoughtful proportions, you will be miles ahead of the rest of the planet!

Foods to avoid at all cost: Refined sugar, vegetable oils, refined grain.

This means no more Frikendellen, bamiballen, and broodjes, but lots of the rijstafel, haring, biefstuk, and mussells!
    Eet smakkelijk!

Rice is fine. So are potatoes. You can eat them every day, just don't over-do it. One or two servings of a starchy carb is just right. Frites (french fries) are not fine, though! You want to know the most primal meal on the planet? Aardappelen met borekool en worst. (potatoes with kale and sausage). I make that a couple times a week. Witloof is also great--what is that called in English? Also, your bacon (spek) is much better than our bacon, and don't talk about eating paard on here or you will get banned!

    Ok, thanks again!
Will stop overthinking these matters as I was on the right track already!
