Breakfast was butter tea, fasted until around noon.

Lunch was leftover indian chicken and two eggs, about 35g of protein.

Ate about a cup of pistachio nuts (in shell).

    Feeling really good today.

wow, I had a wonderful grass fed skirt steak for dinner with a grass fed herb compound butter, and broccoli with garlic olive oil. Ate a total of perhaps 35g of beef protein, so sticking to my plan so far on reducing protein and very low carb.

woke up with a toe cramp. Took a small amount of potassium and it's gone.

I am still getting some muscle cramping but it goes away with magnesium or potassium almost at once. Sometimes sea salt seems necessary too...

yesterday was a few bowls of pastured pork bone broth. A few bites of grass fed skirt steak. Some nuts and then sashimi for dinner. Probably 40g of protein plus whatever is in the broth.

My seasonal allergies were fine until nighttime when they got really bad. I took a Zirtec.

Heading out to our local family farm today to get GF beef, pastured pork, duck eggs, and lamb. The little girl (6 or 7 ) who lives there loves to give customers tours of the place. She is so sweet and bossy!

Realized that alcohol is really not working for me, after that mojito the other night. Think I'll be sticking to one glass of red wine once a week, tops.

I'm jealous! Nice to live close to that. WE're about 2 hours away or longer from the farmers.

I quit alcohol about 10 years ago and have been quite happy with my decision but I realize that isn't for everyone. I wasn't an alcoholic but I did feel stressful about drinking or not drinking and finally nothing was better than that feeling of wanting to drink more and knowing I shouldn't. My wife drinks a glass or two of wine maybe twice a week but I never had that ability to moderate.

yesterday was a small amount of sashimi and grass fed skirt steak, maybe 25g of protein. Nuts. And for dinner, maybe 25oz. of protein in the form of a hamburger at Ray's The Third restaurant.

I realize my real issue is with capsicum. I have a severe intolerance of capsicum but I love hot peppers...

My DH replaced our Maldon sea salt with Kosher salt, without telling me (sodium chloride, no minerals) and I have been getting muscle cramps for the last few days. No cramping at all when I salt my food liberally with sea salt.

Needless to say, he is buying more sea salt today!
