    Whole carbs healthy?

    I was reading thru the forum when I came to an opinion about whole carbs foods we actually healthy?

    Have anyone already heard of it ? Is it really true?

    Be more specific which "whole" carb foods are you talking about?

    I'm not sure what a whole carb is..... I have a vague idea what whole foods eaten in their natural state are... maybe thats what you mean?

    If you're talking about a potato or a carrot, then yes, they are healthy.
    Disclaimer: I eat 'meat and vegetables' ala Primal, although I don't agree with the carb curve. I like Perfect Health Diet and WAPF Lactofermentation a lot.

    "Whole carbs" is often another way to express the concept of "heart-healthy whole grains". In that case, no.
