    Low carb

What would be considered a low carb diet?
    At present I am on:

    No Bread
    No Pasta
    No Milk
    No Potatoes

Lost 6 pound in a month, and 2% body fat

Weakness, a few water crackers with cheese each evening.

Low carb is only low relative to current culture.

For a defining point most define it as under 150g/day. This is the point that Volek (a researcher) has defined it as. But it's all relative.

I would agree, though I think "low carb" would be more like 100g or less. VLC definitely 50g or less.

    I'm low carb, under 150g/day, and I eat 2-3 potatoes a day.

Since it's so arbitrary I'd encourage you to take charge and self-experiment, and maybe distinguish between refined and unrefined (e.g. I tolerate potatoes but not sugar).

There are other carb sources besides those foods, you know. I consider low carb to be under 50g per day.

To people at large low carb is probably <150g. On these boards it tends to be equated with vlc (<50g).
Disclaimer: I eat 'meat and vegetables' ala Primal, although I don't agree with the carb curve. I like Perfect Health Diet and WAPF Lactofermentation a lot.

To me LC is under 100g a day. you can still be LC and eat potatoes..I also think that it varies by individual. If I eat less that 100g a day, I don't feel too good. I am also very active and I just don't think that going LC is the answer to everything.
