    What to do with bacon fat?

    What should I do with the bacon fat left in the pan?
    Is it bad fat???

    I throw it in a small tupperware and keep it in the fridge. Seems to stay good for a while and I'll use it to grease the pan for cooking other things... or some more bacon!

    Mix it with broth and drink it, and you will get your reward later on in the paleo heaven...

    I cook eggs in it or drizzle it over salad. Favorite thing is to drizzle over steamed, sliced brussel sprouts and roast them with garlic, pepper and parsley.

    I pour it through a sieve into a glass jar. IMO it works best for sauteing dark greens (spinach, collards, chard)

    But it doesn't come in sticks. I don't know how much to use.

    This is my favorite way to use it. Spinach sauteed in bacon fat has become one of my regular breakfast side dishes.
