Two weeks ago, I spent 5 days visiting family. I drank large quantities of home-brewed beer. I ate several pieces of fabulous chocolate cake, a few pretzel rolls slathered in butter, some rice paper spring rolls that clearly had tofu in them, enough conventional Easter candy to feel slightly ill, and some really great local, farm-raised primal foods. When I got home I was 7 lbs heavier than when I left. I was feeling kind of blah too. I just went back to eating my usual primal fare and 4 days later, I was back to my pre-vacation weight and feeling pretty darn good. This WOE has become like a pair of comfy shoes for me.
I agree with Katherine. If you like the idea of a Whole 30, go for it. (Better you than me, lol.). If you just want to get back in the saddle, just get back in the saddle.
