Do you eat before sleeping? Maybe you eat something crappy then go the day feeling bad without eating and this happens.
Now that you mention it, I used to get sleep paralysis often before going low carb primal. It would happen just upon falling asleep or upon waking. It's terrifying! Thankfully, I haven't had an episode in ages but never made the connection until now.
