    That's all.

The rest of that IS personal opinion... and don't even start bringing the "Thou shalt nots" into it. That is RELIGION and it does not belong in any conversation about government. Full stop.
One can discuss such things as morality without such ridiculousness being involved.
Rick P. has tried to stick all sorts of "Christianity" into the law, and that is what I have a serious issue with.

Also, in case you didn't notice... Rick is quite pro "murder" when it suits him.
    whatever.........

Joanie, how do you make your sauerkraut? I've tried twice, and both times it ended up being way-too-salty "raw" cabbage. I used a recipe off teh interwebs, so maybe that was my mistake...

Ack - I didn't mean to start a thing. It could have been any politician of any ilk. I just think it's funny when politicians say they're not going to run for their current office because it invariably means they're looking to climb up the ladder. And for a governor of a huge state, that step up has got to be the US Senate, or President. My apologies.

Right? I mean all we do is paint ourselves in our team colors and wear foam rubber fingers. LOL. The head on the spike thing is a bit much.

Goldie, this was my first batch. Basically just cabbage, sea salt, and filtered water. I was worried that my kitchen would be too warm, but the simplest one is taking much longer than two weeks to ferment. The second batch (all made the same day) was the same except I also added some garlic, pickling spice, and cayenne pepper. That seems better. And the onions I did the same way as the spicier sauerkraut, and they, so far, have come out the best.

Most of the recipes I've seen are basically the same combo of the three ingredients.

Thanks, Joanie. I let my first batch ferment for about 2 weeks, the second batch for about 3.5 weeks, with the same (lack of) results. And I used the same things... cabbage, filtered water, and sea salt.

Maybe I just haven't been patient enough!

Goldie, I was thinking I hadn't cut my cabbage finely enough. I may take the current product, drain it, shred it a bit more, then put it in new solution. If that works better, I'll post the results.

No need to apologise, in my view, my impaling line was a bit of a generic response as well, as I reckons most pollies morals are lower than a snakes dangly bits!

Oh, and they do takes there footy serious in the South Americas, some Columbian international got himself assassinated a few years ago for scoring an own goal at the world cup, not quite as out there as getting his head on a stick, but......

I don't think you said anything that needed an appology....

I'm not so sure he will run for President.... it didn't work out so well for him the last time he did. Besides.... some groups will seek to put his head on a pike regardless of what he does.

LOL - I love that visual. I bet you're fun to drink and exchange stories with.

Yeah, politicians suck. I try to imagine what would have happened if instead of saying, "I did not have sexual relations with that woman," Clinton had said something like, "Bitch gave me a blow job like nobody's business! And I was clutching the Presidential Seal when she did it. I'm the president, dammit. Almost everyone wants to blow me."

LOL. I've actually heard some good things about him. Especially as to the financial health of Texas. In fact Jindal (Louisiana's governor) wanted to mimic some of the stuff that TX does to encourage more businesses to move here. He's not getting a lot of support. sigh...
