    If someone tried to make me pick up that much weight and haul it around, I'd tell them to take a flying leap--that they were crazy. Yet here I have been picking it up of my own volition without one complaint. How stupid can I be?

    Well, no more. This tonnage is getting kicked to the curb. I've had it.

    My knees can't take it anymore.

    I will be light on my feet again.

    As for today's food, here it is:
    B: Coffee, cream, bacon, eggs
    L: Chicken, avocado, boiled egg
    S: Dark chocolate salted macadamia nut (made at home); 2 Brazil nuts
    D: Wing night w/sauce & slaw

    Oh, and someone gave me 5 stars on this blog. Thanks! (Even though I don't know what that means.)

    I guess this is the settling in, which makes me very nervous. I had a small sweet potato tonight with my steak, and we'll see how that goes. So far so good--no bad reactions.

    It's been a rainy day in Alabama, but I did get a walk in this afternoon between thunder events. Overall a good day.

    Day 27: Primal Food Intake Today:

    B: Bacon

    S: Cashews

    L: Salad with egg, bacon, mushrooms, onion, 1 cherry tomato, 1 avocado, olive oil & balsamic dressing

    D: BGE Chicken breast, roasted Brussels sprouts & onions

    We went to a Mexican restaurant today, and I ordered a completely new thing for me--ribeye (it was thin) sautéed onions, vegetables, & salad. It was pretty good! Amazing the food adventures in a restaurant when you have to deviate from the norm!

    Day 28: Primal Food Intake Today:

    B: None

    S: Cashews & Macadamia Nuts

    L: Very thin ribeye with sautéed onions, vegetables, & salad

    D: 1 egg & 4 egg yolks scrambled with coconut oil, butter, and asparagus

    Today was a good food day, and in the van coming home I happily discovered that I could use the armrest!

    Day 30. Day 30! Whoo hoo! I'm pretty happy that I've made it 30 whole days on this Primal journey. I hope the scales move tomorrow.

    Day 32: The scales didn't move yesterday or today, and today turned out to be a pretty awful day. As a result, I indulged in emotional eating at lunch. I chose to enjoy the tortilla chips at the Mexican restaurant, and the rice under the Pollo Loco. At least I didn't eat any wheat. This is the first day I've deviated from the Primal norm, so I'm calling this an 80//20 day. I was back on plan at supper, which is kind of a miracle for me.

    B: Primal Fuel

    S:

    L: Tortilla chips, pollo loco

    D: Hash, roasted Brussels sprouts
