Yes you are correct. The Bible authors were inspired by God, paintings were not inspired.

    Very good answer

all spiritual beliefs over time become indistinguishable from insanity.

    ALL

Unless you were there, you have no clue what was said or want was meant.

I am the Big Cheese, walk in the way of Gouda.

in 1000 years they will have had 2 - 3 more messiahs and christs and will worship the great and powerful ox..... oh wait we did that prior to yesuah ben yosef

or maybe the virgin birth of Anakin Skywalker will become the new catholic religion.

spirituality is good for the soul, but electrons, protons and neutrons are required for the body.

religion rots the mind like sugar rots the teeth

The fact is that it is impossible to distinguish the difference between "God spoke to me in a dream" and "I dreamt God spoke to me."

I thought the purpose of Communion (bread/body, blood/wine) was always meant as a ritual for Christ's followers to remember the ultimate sacrifice Christ made for them. Who'd a thunk Jesus was pushing Monsanto wheat and HFCS?
