    Hives from cafeteria food

    Primal Fuel
My dh discovered a couple of what he thought were insect bites last week, but they didn't quite look right. Just got them cleared up, but then broke out in a couple more a week later.

Putting his thinking cap on, he realised that the common denominator was eating a salad and mayonnaise sandwich at the work cafeteria on both occasions. Now he thinks the spots are hives caused by a reaction to some ingredient he's unaware of.

He could be right, and since he's not game to test his theory again next week, it's up to me to be more reliable with the lunchboxes. I thought he was taking them just to please me, but now I realise he's been avoiding the cafeteria on purpose - secretly being more primal than I knew.

That's a pretty positive development. Not the hives of course. It would be interesting to find out what's causing the hives, though.

Could be an allergy to soybean oil, which would be present in both the dressing and mayo.

    Primal avoids that.
