    Quick fat

    Primal Blueprint Expert Certification
I'm doing the more fat, trying to keep it up over 70%. Somedays, but not many, I find at the end of the day, I'm way down in my fat intake. Any ideas on how to boost it up without adding a bunch of calories?

Also,,,,,,how in the hell do you change your signature? I find it eventually but it takes me a 1/2 hour!...LOL

Plan in advance and stick with it. There is no way to increase the fat in your diet after the fact without adding lots of calories.

I understand that you can't eat without adding calories. I"m way under my calorie count everyday. Just looking for something that is really high in fat, but doesn't go thru the roof in calories.

Have you tried adding coconut oil or butter when you're cooking? When I was doing keto I would eat the coconut oil by itself. It bothers my stomach so I don't eat it as much but it's a great way to get fat in, esp if you're cooking with it.

Fat has the most calories per gram than any other macro, so it'll always be high.

To change your sig: Find the menu on any forum page (white print on black background). Click on "forum actions." In the dropdown menu click "edit profile." That brings you to the profile page. On the left column, in the "My settings" section, click on "edit signature."
5'0" female, 43 years old. Started Primal October 31, 2011, at a skinny fat 111.5 lbs. Low weight: 99.5 lb on a fast. Current weight: skinny-fat 106.5 lbs because of sugar cheating.

MY PRIMAL: I (try to) follow by-the-book primal as advocated by Mark Sisson, except for whey powder and a bit of cream. I aim for 80-90 g carb/day and advocate a two-month strict adjustment for newbies. But everybody is different and other need to tweak Primal to their own needs.
