I use almond oil in my hair, and find it works pretty well!

I would say to use the coconut oil, but try to wash most of it out and stay under an ice cold shower for a couple minutes. I have strong wavy hair due to a SE Euro background (kind of Balkan), so I have struggled to control it my whole life. That's my best advice.

Oh I wish. Even with shampooing, I'm getting pink residue for several days afterwards, and the stuff stains anything and everything it comes into contact with. (Not to mention we have to bleach out my hair before making it pink.)

My red dye leaks everywhere too. I do mine from home, and I don't shampoo afterwards. I just have a dedicated towel I use for my head till its dry enough. I wish there was another trick for the dye!

That's why I quit dying mine. I want to refresh the color that's left (about half of the length of my hair is stil purpley-pink, the rest is natural, and it's pixie-cut length) but I hate the bleeding period. It never seemed to stop with the purple, and pink always went on for at least a week. I always use dark pillow cases and towels when I'm dyeing regularly!
