When I started low carb I also did the terrible sleeps for quite a while waking very early, then of course feeling awful and frustrated. I just stuck with it, trying different sleep aids initially, but I think it was just more time for my body to adjust that I needed. For hunger I had to remove all starches/sugar. Candida puts up quite a fight when you start to remove all the good stuff.
Started Primal June 2012 at 148.5lbs, and 5' 1", reached goal weight in 5 months.
Lowest weight 93lbs - too thin. Now stable at around 100lbs much better weight for me at my age.
