Bananas in coconut milk is a little tip I picked up in Thailand, but never really made use of til I got over my banana phobia... For years I thought they made people fat, so I'd only eat them if I was skipping meals. In fact, I mostly used to eat bananas on heavy drug weekends, when food is mostly impossible but you need to eat.! Thankfully that's yet another food phobia laid to rest... now I eat them all the time... (a few days ago I decided they were the cause of my bloat and I tried to give them up. I lasted a day..!)
Anyway, I recommend the banana dish. Particularly good with coconut ice cream!
"I think the basic anti-aging diet is also the best diet for prevention and treatment of diabetes, scleroderma, and the various "connective tissue diseases." This would emphasize high protein, low unsaturated fats, low iron, and high antioxidant consumption, with a moderate or low starch consumption.
In practice, this means that a major part of the diet should be milk, cheese, eggs, shellfish, fruits and coconut oil, with vitamin E and salt as the safest supplements."
