it looks like it is possibly a leg LL, however I ain't no expert either. You could always broth it !!!!!!!!!
Good luck
Last night I thawed out a nice lump of pork to roast and found an extra unidentified piece in the bag. My husband and a work colleague went halves in a free range pig and the butcher just packaged it all up with no labels, so it's always quite an adventure opening each bag!
So this is the piece I can't identify:
I'm thinking its a hock or something? Oh and it has bones through the middle. My pork anatomy knowledge is quite poor as we never ate pork growing up. What do I do with this piece?

...small steps....
Looks like a knuckle/leg. Great for salting and slow cooking
From the size id say probably the hock or the cut from right above the hock.
Every time I hear the dirty word 'exercise', I wash my mouth out with chocolate.
