    I hit myself on the bottom of the chin with the bar on the OHP

    I lift for close to 3 years, and that's the first time it has ever happened. I was doing a lot of rounds with the X-fit WOD today, and it was my last back off set with an empty bar. Ouch. Morale: be careful, folks, the most awkward things may happen when in a hurry and tired.

    Steak, eggs, potatoes - fruits, nuts, berries and forage. Coconut milk and potent herbs and spices. Tea instead of coffee now and teeny amounts of kelp daily. Let's see how this does! Not really had dairy much, and gut seems better for it.

    I've always been afraid of that. I've come close. Also to hitting my nose.

    I've done that exact same thing- ouch! Today's WOD is going to force me to face my other big fear- the box jump. Injury from 2 months ago still hasn't healed fully.

    Badkty, I was doing step-ups/step-downs up till now on 24"-30", but I used 12" today for box jumps, and it went well for my 10 rounds. So, fingers crossed for you!

    Hope it won't color into a bruise. I have a PTI tonight!

    i've done that! i've also hit myself in the crotch on a power clean. that SUCKED too.

    I've done that many times. It's always when I get tired at the end of a workout.

    Excited about 13.2 tomorrow... total gasser. I suck at box jumps, though.
