Ted Allen's dry voice, announcing the last 10 seconds of a round of chopped. Alternatively, Alton Brown announcing that Mario Batali is using brandy in his flambe using only the color of the flame on Iron Chef.

Seriously, though, I tend to listen to either techno/dance, metal, or power metal/nerd metal stuff. Unfortunately my gym likes to play country and pop, because nothing pumps me up like OWL CITY and songs about my TRUCK!

Currently rocking out to High on Fire's old stuff like Surrounded by Thieves... great stuff! Also, Capricorns... there's something refreshing about instrumental workout music...

I needed workout music today, so I went over to Mixcloud and clicked the first mix to tickle my fancy. Struck gold.

I usually listen to thrash metal, death metal, 90's alt-rock and grunge, and classic rock. Metallica, Pantera, Ensiferum, Dethklok (any Metalocalypse fans here?), etc.

I no longer use music, read Jack LaLanne didn't use it. I used to listen to a lot of 90s dance:
