Angry Bad Science just refuses to die.....

Google "what foods cause heart disease" and up pop a slew of bad science sites; still promulgating the "less fat" "lean" healthy whole grain message. You have to peruse this site below; these freaks are even pushing pizza dough:

10 Foods That Cause Heart Attacks

Naturally the site is filled with Diabetes ads. If this "healthy diet" was so healthy; why are all your readers diabetic?

The message of ; its all about "calories" and fatty meat; eat less fat; go lean is STILL out there.

    Maddening.

The problem for poor Paula has been wheat, sugar, and crisco.

Thankfully, rationale (and the science that supports it) will eventually win - changing conventional wisdom is a slow and painful process (especially for the people who are sick because of it), but I have reason to believe that the primal/paleo way of thinking and eating is becoming more mainstream.

Man oh man; they didn't get ANY of the science correct in the 70's. What a time to grow up. I guess 'cause it was Pre-Internet.

Yes excellent point - from my limited understanding, type2 can be eliminated by diet in most cases.

So why are the visitors to diabetic sites still diabetic?

If there money to be made then science will be corrupted.
Today there's still money to be made - they they still say avoid fats and eat grains.

Internet is double edged sword - it also can be used to propagate false info.
