    Best Whey Protein

I am on the search for a top quality whey protein. One that is grass-fed and that has no artificial sweeteners.

I found the following 2 brands:

    Source Naturals, True Whey

    and

    Jay Rob Enterprises

Has anyone tried either of these brands? If not, what brand do you buy?

    Thanks!

I use Jay Robb's. It's pretty good stuff from what I've read, and it tastes halfway decent which helps.

Thanks for your input! I think I will go with that... it's on Amazon whom I LOVE.

    Any other thoughts?

I use Optimum Nutrition Pro Complex Natural, which is a whey/casein/egg blend. It is supposedly all natural, using stevia as a sweetener. They also have a natural whey product. I think it tastes good.

I currently have optimum nutrition as well... the strawberry banana flavor and it just isn't cutting it.

I agree Optimum Nutrition has excellent taste and quality proteins. However, I was using Pro Complex, but I recently switched to Platinum Hydrowhey (Chocolate and Vanilla flavors). It's more expensive but its GLUTEN FREE unlike Pro Complex. See the note I received from ON below:

    Dear Henry,

Thank you for your interest in Optimum Nutrition products. The
following products are those to avoid; those which absolutely contain
    gluten:

100% Whey Gold Standard-Cookies n' Cream (cookie pieces)
100% Casein Gold Standard -Cookies n' cream (cookie pieces)
    Serious Mass-all flavors(glutamine peptides)
    Aftermax-all flavors (glutamine peptides)
    Pro Complex-all flavors (glutamine peptides)
Pro Complex Gainer-all flavors (glutamine peptides)
    Nitro-Core 24 - all flavors (glutamine peptides)
Lift Bar - Cookies & Cream (glutamine peptides & cookie pieces)
OPD bar - All flavors (wheat protein isolate)
Steel bar -all flavors (wheat protein isolate)
Platinum Hydrowhey -Cookies & Cream (cookie pieces)

*To the best of our knowledge these are the only products that contain
gluten. While we are not adding gluten to our other products, we cannot
say with 100% certainty that our other products are gluten-free. We use
the same equipment to make products with and without gluten. Although
the equipment is cleaned in-between, trace amounts of gluten may remain.

I checked out biochem... it just has a bunch of other stuff in it.

I will pay a premium price for a high quality, grass-fed, pure whey protein.

    Anyone else have a recommendation?

I have been using Well Wisdom's Vital Whey for more than a year now and LOVE it! It's a non-denatured grass-fed, all natural, non-gmo whey protein. The one I use, Vital Whey Natural, has one ingredient...whey protein concentrate. In my opinion you won't find a higher quality wp anywhere! You can check them out at Grass Fed Whey Protein and Natural Whey Protein Powder | Well Wisdom. The website contains a TON of great information too.

    Good Luck!

Is Isopure still around? I remember they had some pretty good meal replacements that were 1 or 0 grams of sugar a while back.
