What bloodorchid said. Use kettlebells or dumbbells to start. One in each hand, don't rest it on your hips, walk around. Then upgrade to buckets or bottles of water/sand, to add challenge for your stabilizers.![]()
I rarely talk to people about Paleo/Primal, but, when I do, it's when they're NOT complaining about their weight or health.
You see, I don't really "do" pity. And one thing I've learned about people is that they're more open to suggestion when they're happy and stable. When they complain they only ever want pity, not to be advised.

Just wanted to chime in and say that farmer's walks are one of my favorite exercises. Great for overall stability and an awesome conditioning tool as well!
Yes, farmers walks are awesome! You can use kettle bells, plates with or without handles, without the handles you can "pinch" grip the plates.
