MCTs, no sugar, and very limited carbs sounds like a pretty good (and delicious) way to lose weight to me!

    Ghirardelli 100% - 1 ingredient: Unsweetened chocolate. 0g sugars. $2.77 for 4 ounce bar.

I keep it at my desk at work. I only eat 1/4 of a square at a time; it's bitter but not terribly so.

(note: if making this in southern California in summertime, you can skip step one.)

mix in as much cocoa as you can while keeping it liquid (not gloppy)

if it gets too thick add a bit of coconut cream

season as you like with mint, cinnamon, nutmeg, or go savory with a little salt and cayenne

you can use some stevia if you like it but I don't bother. The coconut adds enough sweetness for me.

pour into the bottom of non stick muffin pans and pop in freezer

they come out like little hockey pucks. Tasty hockey pucks.
Sounds good. I just ordered a big jar of cocoa powder to try this. Will these hockey pucks stay solid at room temperature -- say less than 90 degrees?

I started using real cocao butter with just a little bit of coconut oil to have the chocolate stay firm outside of the fridge, just like the storebought chocolates. Just substitute the coconut oil with cocoa butter one on one.

Yes but they will melt in the warmth of your hands so eat them quickly and if you are giving them to kids, look out for sticky fingers.

I was looking for cocoa butter but haven't been able to find any locally. Where do you get yours?
