These look delicious and like something I'll have to try! I'll try to find some more pictures of ingredient-filled blenders for inspiration because I'm still not sure what would go well in one of these.

Bacon? I hadn't thought of it, but I probably would do it. It might be good with baby spinach, pears, and goat cheese. That alone makes a good breakfast, but in smoothie form? Hmmm... has potential.

I worked an Elvis inspired smoothie this morning with avocado, spinach, carrots, banana and bacon. It was quite glorious. I'm going to play around the recipe and post once it's perfected.
I have a Vitamix also, and have been losing some unwanted weight by having a green/brown smoothie for dinner or lunch most days. I usually throw in a few berries to help with the taste.
Part two of the weight loss strategy is not eating breakfast most days. I'm never really hungry untill 11 am or later anyway.
Started at 218 in January, down to 203. I've been mostly primal for a few years, but recently discovered that my diabetes medication (Glipizide) was causing me to gain weight. These days my sugars are good, lots of energy, and I'm closing in on a size 35 waist

1 large fennel bulb, trimmed and fronds removed
1 large bunch watercress
1 2" knob of ginger
The recipe is to be put through a juicer, but I think it would make an awesome smoothie.
