I'm looking for the same jars and would like them to be freezer safe too.
I'm looking for some good jars, mostly for liquids. The jars need to be:
- made of glass
- infinitely washable and reuseable, including the lid
- 100% waterproof even if upside down
- dishwasher safe
- wide mouth
I have been using Mason Ball jars. They work fine but the lids rust in the DW.
Right now, I'm thinking of getting Le Parfait canning jars, but I'd love to find something a tad cheaper and less over-engineered.
Thanks,
Joss

I dont put my mason jar lids in the dishwasher. Even still, some do rust eventually. I consider the rings and seals to be disposable after a point. And you can freeze Mason jars.

Yeah, I have them. They leak.
I just use mason jars and replace the lids/rings when they rust.

What material are the lids and rings made of? I would have figured stainless or some other rust resistant material (they're kind of brassy looking anyways).
