Do you have a mandoline?
I'm looking at this for making spiral stuff for veggie pasta.
Any other ideas or gadgets you might recommend?
Thank you.

Do you have a mandoline?
I saw that spiralizer in the almond pasta thread and went all OOOOO I want to make spiralized veggies!!!
Seems fun. =P
I have that exact model and got it from Amazon as well. I absolutely love it. I peel and spiralize some zucchini, cook it up in some butter and cover it in Parmesan. Best food ever.
It's supposedly also good for thin slicing things, but I haven't been able to get past spiralizing every piece of zucchini that comes within 20 feet of the house.

I use a spirooli. It's very good at what it does.
I have something similar that I bought locally. I haven't used the spiral cut zucchini as a pasta substitute, just sauté in butter with S&P and serve as a veggie. I don't even peel it. My family loves zucchini so much prepared that way that I don't want to spoil it now by using it as fake pasta, lol.

I have the Paderno and while it is totally fun, it takes up quite a bit a space for an occasional use gadget. I also have a mandoline and the spiralizer gives a more noodle-like quality.
I have that same one from amazon. Love love love it
