Someone in this thread, awhile back, said something about what you could do with pickle juice. I don't remember what it was but I do remember that it was both interesting and helpful. Does anyone recall it? I'm about to empty a jar of "no sugar added" pickles and I hate to throw the juice away.
all the liquid in store bought pickles is just vinegar, salt and dill
those also have splenda
so you really aren't wasting anything unless you just like pickle juice (and who doesn't like pickle juice?)

Some people on the various fasting threads have explored using pickle juice as an electrolyte re-balancer. But salted water would probably do the same.

I use it occasionally for egg salad...I use a little (not too much or it will be runny) of the pickle juice and a little mayo, and also chop some pickle into the salad.

Drop hard-boiled eggs in it and leave them for a week for pickled eggs.
I don't know about the added chemicals, I just bought the "no sugar added" pickles to cut up for egg or tuna salad. All for convenience sake and to stay a little more primal.
I buy pickles in a half-gallon container. When the tub is empty I may make pickled eggs that way once and then discard the used pickle juice.
